Pirate’s Nest - Welcome aboard, mateys! Pirate’s Nest makes up one side of the Pirates duplex (if facing, on the east side) located in sunny Gulf Shores, Alabama. These three bedroom and two-and-a-half bathroom unit is suitable for every traveler wishing to rest their sea legs and stay marooned on their very own island by the Gulf.

Large party? You can rent both sides of this duplex! Each side comfortably sleeps eight guests for a swashbuckling good time!

THE PROPERTY

Entering the first level of Pirate’s Hideaway, you’ll find an ocean-blue colored living area with a cozy sofa, side tables with lamps and coffee table. This fully wood floor lined room boasts a large flatscreen television atop an entertainment console. Don’t forget to drop your keys off at the Pirate Monkey Bob and rub his hook for good luck!  No need to leave the comfort of the condo to do laundry. There is a stackable washer and dryer off the living area.

Step out onto the balcony for watery views just across the street! Kick up those feet on the furnished patio and listen for the sea sirens to sing their lovely tune.

Walking back into the unit, just off the living area is a fully functional kitchen, ideal for any family chef! Nothing like the smell of sizzling bacon while at the shore! There is ample cabinet storage, counter space and built-in appliances throughout. There is a dining area with seating for four to enjoy a lazy breakfast or elaborate supper. 

There is a half bath on the first floor available for use as well.

The master bedroom, right off the dining space, is the perfect place to lay your weary head after a long day spent picking seashells. There is a queen-sized bed with two nightstands, dresser, flatscreen television, sitting chair and ensuite bathroom. There is a tub and shower combination and freestanding sink with mirror.

The spacious first guest bedroom has a queen over twin bunk bed with steps and a trundle, a side ottoman, modular dresser, regular dresser and flatscreen television.

A shared guest bathroom is nuzzled in between the two rooms, with a tub and shower combination and vanity with mirror.

The second guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed with nightstand, matching dresser and flatscreen television. There is a private access to the furnished balcony. Take in a sunrise or sunset each day!

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES

 

  • RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

 

  • NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

 

  • AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

 

  • CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

 

  • CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

 

  • DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage. 

 

  • MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

 

  • PARKING PASSES: The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner’s Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

 

  • CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

 

  • WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

 

  • RATES: Rates subject to change up until time of booking. Additional fees and taxes may apply.
