Hunter Harrelson

Owner/CEO

Known for his gift of gab and cheerful personality, Hunter confidently guides owners in every aspect of owning a vacation rental property on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Hunter earned his degree in Business Management from the University of Alabama in 2008. Hunter brings over 22+ years of business experience to Beachball Properties that began with his family’s successful industrial construction company located in Selma, Alabama. Prior to starting Beachball Properties, Hunter was a licensed financial advisor for Merrill Lynch and Regions Bank and has extensive accounting and finance knowledge. He lives in Orange Beach with his wife, Ginger, their two children, Lowery and Tenn, and their two dogs, Brodie and Daisy. Hunter serves as a board member for the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and the Kiwanis Club of Gulf Shores. He enjoys Alabama football, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Ginger Harrelson

Owner/Corporate Counsel

Ginger is licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama and enjoys guiding owners through the legal and technical aspects of owning a vacation rental on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Ginger has extensive knowledge in premises liability and municipal law. Ginger earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 2011. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi in 2014. Though she is an excellent attorney, Ginger has found a true passion in marketing, design, and social media. She handles all social media for the company and is the mastermind behind the Facebook Pages “What’s Happening – Orange Beach, Alabama” and “Alabama Gulf Coast Vacation Deals – Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Ft. Morgan.” Combined, her social media pages have over 55,000 followers! Ginger was raised in Fairhope, Alabama and was honored to serve as a Mobile Azalea Trail Maid during her senior year of high school at McGill-Toolen. Ginger currently serves as Vice President of the Pleasure Island Junior Woman’s Club whose philanthropic mission is to clothe local children in need. She also mentors young women through the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and is a volunteer for the American Heart Association. Ginger and Hunter have been married since 2013 and have two beautiful children, Lowery and Tenn.

Bob Lindley

Qualifying Broker

Bob Lindley brings over 25+ years of Broker and Real Estate experience to Beachball Properties. He is a US Army veteran, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, with Graduate Studies at LSU. He lives in Gulf Shores with his wife Kathy. Together they have 6 kids and 13 grandchildren and their Black Labrador, Delta. Bob likes to boat and fish in his spare time, and even holds a USCG 100T Master’s License.

Cheryl Ranft

Property Manager/Realtor

Cheryl is a licensed realtor and brings over 10 years’ experience in the real estate and vacation rental industry to Beachball Properties. Cheryl, her husband Randy, and their son Grayson relocated to Orange Beach in 2004 when Grayson was only 7 months old. Cheryl was raised in Texas and spent her summers and holidays on Plash Island in Gulf Shores where her grandparents lived. Cheryl has been at Beachball Properties for 2 years now and enjoys helping clients navigate vacation rental ownership, as well as helping guests plan their vacations. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys listening to live music at the Flora-Bama.

Jeremy Travis

Operations Manager

Jeremy is a U.S. Army Veteran who honorably served in Iraq. He earned his associate degree in Accounting from Pensacola State College. Jeremy has over a decade of experience in the vacation rental industry and is passionate about helping guests and owners alike. He is lovingly known as the “Snowbird Whisperer,” due to his propensity and willingness to assist our winter guests during their extended stays. He has three dogs, Heidi, Stella, and Scarlet. He grew up in Baldwin County and enjoys vacationing to Disney World.

Kristin Pendley

Quality Assurance Manager

Kristin has been with Beachball Properties for two years. She is responsible for pre-arrival inspections and to insure all properties are properly cleaned. Kristin is married to her middle school sweetheart, Jared, and together, they have 3 children. Kristin is originally from Birmingham, and she and Jared took a leap of faith by moving to the Gulf Coast 6 years ago. Kristin enjoys Alabama football, spending time with family, and watching the deer from her back patio in Elberta.

Kristina is a US Army Veteran. Kristina lives in Foley with her husband, Phillip, who also works for Beachball Properties. Together, Kristina and Phillip have 3 sons, 1 granddaughter, and a dog named Patches. Kristina is responsible for pre-arrival inspections and to insure all properties are properly cleaned. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys riding bikes, fishing, and doing craft projects.

Phillip is a US Army Veteran with a degree in Engineering from the University of Georgia. Phillip lives in Foley with his wife, Kristina, who also works for Beachball Properties. Together, Phillip and Kristina have 3 sons, 1 granddaughter, and a dog named Patches. In his spare time, Phillip enjoys riding bikes, fishing, carpentry, and tinkering with his Jeep.

Steve Barkley

Maintenance and Property Care

Steve has been a resident of Baldwin County for 25 years. He has been married to his wife, Jackie, who is a Baldwin County educator, for 29 wonderful years. Together, they have one son, one daughter, and a grandson. Prior to starting work with Beachball Properties, Steve enjoyed a long career as a Deep Sea Diver. In his spare time, Steve enjoys fishing, hunting, and gardening. He particularly enjoys fishing the local waters for speckled trout, redfish, and large mouth bass. Steve also enjoys volunteering his time teaching children how to fish with the Salty Kidz organization.

Heidi Mitchell

Quality Assurance Inspector

Heidi has lived in Gulf Shores for almost 3 years and previously lived in Tuscaloosa. She is a member of our Quality Assurance team and is responsible for pre-arrival inspections and to insure all properties are properly cleaned prior to guest arrival. She came to Alabama from Alaska where she was born and raised. She brings to Beachball Properties her excellent customer service and care experiences that she acquired while working at her family’s log cabin vacation rentals in Homer, Alaska. Heidi is married to a great guy, Jeff, and has a delightful daughter, Mazie. She enjoys going to the beach, hunting, fishing, camping, off-road motor sports, and spending time in the kitchen discovering new and exciting recipes for her family.

Adam Holder

Quality Assurance Inspector

Adam is a member of our Quality Assurance team and is responsible for pre-arrival inspections and to insure all properties are properly cleaned prior to guest arrival. Adam has over 6 years’ experience as an inspector and over 15 years in the vacation rental industry. Adam has been a Baldwin County resident for the past 13 years. He enjoys living close to the water because fishing is his favorite pastime.

Luanne McCarley

Professional Photographer

Luanne, an award-winning professional photographer, has always enjoyed photography. She was able to transform her hobby into a career as a photojournalist and writer for a weekly newspaper in north Mississippi in 1995. She was awarded first place for a photo in the spot news category at the Mississippi Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest in 1998 and received third place and honorable mentions in later years. After moving to the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast in 2005, she shifted gears and worked in marketing, vacation rental photography and social media writing. During this time, she also started her own business of wedding and family beach photography which eventually became her full-time work. Shifting gears once again, she retired from wedding and family photography and now focuses her business on real estate and vacation rental photos. She still enjoys photography as a hobby, especially when traveling. Luanne is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and earned the designation of Certified Professional Photographer – one of only two in Baldwin County. She is also a member of the Gulf Coast Professional Photographers Association where she serves as a board member. Luanne lives in Foley with her husband and miniature dachshund, Boo Boo.
